New HQIP Reports Address Behavioral Health, Severe Maternal Morbidity and Mortality, and More

HQI’s Hospital Quality Improvement Platform (HQIP) now includes:

  • An update to the Severe Maternal Morbidity and Mortality report, which now follows the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality’s Maternal Health Indicator report
  • Updated 2022 National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) baseline rates; members can now view existing NHSN reports based on either the 2015 baseline or the 2022 baseline

  • A new local health plan report

Future HQIP updates include:

  • Automated hospital system reporting to streamline comparisons of measured outcomes across network hospitals
  • Modifications to local health plan reports
