Cynthia is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 30 years of experience in advanced nursing, clinical education, quality improvement, and leadership. She holds a Master’s in Nursing from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s from Excelsior College, along with several clinical certifications.

Currently a Nurse Practitioner in urgent, post-acute care, and telehealth, Cynthia also teaches at Chaminade University of Hawaii. Her leadership experience includes roles as VP of Quality for the Hospital Association of San Diego & Imperial Counties, Director of Quality Improvement at Sharp Healthcare, and Director of Performance Improvement for Premier Inc. in Hawaii.

Cynthia has worked with Boston Scientific and Biosite, developing clinical education programs and product launches. She’s a published author and national speaker, with contributions to journals and conferences such as AACN and AHRQ.

Licensed in California and Hawaii, Cynthia is dedicated to advancing healthcare quality, patient safety, and education, making her a respected leader in the field.
